This is going to make someone very happy, indeed.

Sourced from the Pacific Northwest and other parts of the USA, this handspun yarn was made by hand, from 3 different raw fleeces - a Cormo named Fiona, a Merino named Theresa, and a Romeldale CVM sheep named Teardrop.

The time put into this yarn is evident.

Each lock was individually selected, flicked and spun to create a beautiful, irreproducible yarn. A strand of each type is plied together to create this wonderful 3 ply, fingering / sport weight yarn.

Any garment made with this fiber would have a truly rustic, one of a kind feel. This yarn is steeped in character, with natural colors ranging from white to many shades of greys, tied together by Cormo naturally dyed with wattle and iron.

This is a beautifully balanced and fantastically soft squishy yarn, light and airy, with a heavenly smell any true wool aficionado can appreciate. Exceptionally warm. Perfect for both next to skin garments and outerwear. Because these fleeces were processed by hand (not commercially scoured or spun), some of the sheeps natural lanolin remains, which will result in a more water resistant fabric.

Weighing in at 120 grams and measuring (at least) 364 yards.

I would be willing to spin more like this, in smaller batches. convo me for details.
